This 4 way vest was wet felted by hand by Barb.
Felted with fawn alpaca, one side has dyed yarns wandering through the felt. The reverse side was nuno felted; dyed silk pieces were felted into the alpaca using the nuno technique, creating interesting texture that enhances the flat felt.
The vest can be worn long with a somewhat narrow collar. (Right side up)
It can be worn shorter with a deeper and larger collar. (Upside down)
This garment is sure to turn heads. It is a unique piece that can be worn or mounted on the wall as a piece of fiber art.
